Rolling out across 50 sites without a WiFi coverage survey? A risky bet
Before any multi-site Wi-Fi rollout, a coverage survey is what separates a reliable network from a wave of complaints.

On one site, a poorly sized Wi-Fi network can be fixed quickly. Across 50 sites rolled out at once, the cost multiplies: badly placed access points, dead zones in stockrooms, terminals dropping connections mid-operation.
A coverage survey carried out with Ekahau measures the real site — walls, racking, interference sources, density of connected devices — instead of working from a floor plan. The result: a justified number and placement of access points, not an estimate.
At Avenir Systèmes, the radio survey always precedes our indoor and outdoor Wi-Fi deployments (Avenir Connect). It feeds the sizing, the budget and the scheduling — and then serves as the acceptance benchmark: measured coverage must match promised coverage.
The outcome: fewer surprises at go-live, verified performance, and a network that delivers from day one.
